Devil's Rock Garden
Warm Light & Magnificent Rock Towers
Located 14 miles down Hole in the Rock Road, Devil's Rock Garden is my most favorite location in Escalante Utah to shoot photos. The warm orange and red toned rocks reflect the light perfectly and adds a jaw-dropping background wherever you look. The road is a rough, bumpy dirt road that has the potential to wreak havoc on vehicles - so I highly recommend all-wheel vehicles with high clearance only.

Right Off Highway 12
Breathtaking Scenery & Cliff Layers
There are gorgeous locations all along Highway 12 - extending from the East to the West of Escalante. Most of these areas are within walking distance of the highway, very family friendly, and easily accessible to all vehicles. These areas also provide truly unique, once-in-a-lifetime views.

Boulder Mountain
Gentle, Peaceful & Lush
This area offers a variety of scenery - including mountainous, green, soft views with lakes. Posey Lake, located in Dixie National Forest, is 16 miles from Escalante Utah, approximately 40 minutes away. The dirt road is rough, bumpy, and is unaccessible during stormy weather. I recommend all-wheel drive vehicles with high clearance only.
